Finally, you have an alternative to high-priced, marginally-performing, rebuilt used replacement aircraft alternators. Plane-Power alternators are the product of years of research, development and intensive testing. Each component has been engineered, developed, tested and re-tested exclusively for use in general aviation aircraft. 24/28 volt, 70 amp*, alternator replaces 24/28V Ford, 60 amp alternator in Cessna aircraft with Serpentine Belt Driven Lycoming engines.
*Aircraft electrical system will be limited by existing wiring and output breaker not to exceed 60 amps. The Plane-Power alternator can produce all 70 amps if proper size wiring and circuit breaker is installed and approved.

The C28-150 is PMA/FAA eligible on most Continental 520 and 550 Series engines with front mounted gear driven alternators. This spectacular alternator in addition to providing a continuous 150A at cruise RPM will deliver 60A at 1000 RPM and weighing only 12.6 lbs!
*Aircraft electrical system will be limited by existing wiring and output breaker not to exceed 60 amps. The Plane-Power alternator can produce all 70 amps if proper size wiring and circuit breaker is installed and approved.
**Also, Teledyne Continental alternator installations used a wide variety of V-belts. Plane-Power recommends the use of TCM P/N 539547-32.00 for most installations of AL12-F60 alternators on TCM engines.

14.2 volt, 30 amp primary alternator for aircraft not requiring more than 30 amps at cruise RPM and little or no output below approx. 1200 RPM. It mounts on an unused AND 20000 pad (vacuum pad) on both Lycoming and Continental engines.
EXPERMENTAL ALTERNATORS
The AL12-EI60 kit comes with an ultra compact lightweight AIRCRAFT alternator with an exclusive internal crowbar overvoltage protection circuit. The alternator is fully pilot controllable through unique internal wiring. The dual internal fans are designed for aircraft engine rotation for maximum cooling. The AL12-EI60 kit includes the tension arm, mounting brackets, all required AN hardware, and V-Belt for Superior and most Lycoming engines.

The AL12-EI70 kit includes a high output AIRCRAFT alternator with an exclusive internal crowbar over-voltage protection circuit. The alternator is fully pilot controllable through unique internal wring. The dual internal fans are designed for aircraft engine rotation for maximum cooling. The AL12-EI70 kit includes the tension arm, mounting brackets, all required AN hardwar, and V-Belt for Superior and most Lycoming engines with a 9-3/4 engine pulley.
